Continental Drift: Encounters, North and South

The term “continental drift" references the slow, tectonic movement of landmasses — a process that both separates and reshapes.

The exhibition will draw an analog between geology and culture: artistic traditions, too, migrate, collide, and transform. In this exhibition we hope to bring together works by artists from across the hemisphere alongside works that bear the imprint of those traditions — whether through material, technique, imagery, or encounter with people and place.
